Recently I've become interested in Opera browser. It's not only a browser, but also an email client and a feed reader.

Here are some features:

1. higher security, in blocking pop-ups and avoiding private intranet data leak;

2. not to show saved passwords;

3. more speed in downloading;

4. browsing speed-up on slow connections by Opera Turbo;

5. loading 100% of web page text before images;

6. tabs are windows!

• has the features 'Restore', 'Arrange' (Tile, Cascade,…), 'Minimize', 'Clone' (duplicate), etc. on tabs;

• can browse 'private tabs' and non-private ones simultaneously in a single window;

• opens every window (bookmarks, history, downloads,…) as a tab

• closing the last tab doesn't close the program

7. tab preview/thumbnail by mouse hover – resize the tab bar to see thumbnails without hovering; 

8. speed dial for a new tab;

9. powerful email client:

• display threads – emails with the same subject together;

• attachment section shows all mail attachments by file type (document, music, video,…);

• labeling: gets labels from IMAP server;

• auto-save draft while typing;

• auto-save contacts;

10. detailed options for appearance:

• icon size by percent;

• panels and their placement: left, right, floating;

• tab bar placement: top, bottom, left, right;

• detailed progress bar showing loading speed, elements, page size;

• edit properties of any toolbar: placement, style, text wrapping;

All these features are available without any add-ons, in only 9.4 MiB! While Firefox and Thunderbird (17.4+19.9) are 35.3 MiB, and Chrome is 32.8 MiB!

Yes, Opera was the browser which separated me from Firefox.
